Aloha -
As a resident of East Hawai'i and a family member of Hawaiian people in East Hawai'i, I
oppose Banyan Drive coming under the jurisdiction of the Hawaii community development
authority.
Residents of East Hawai'i and especially the Hawaiian people of East Hawai'i should
have control over lands in East Hawai'i. This is is essential and necessary in revitalizing the
area.
Extractive tourism and commercial development in a flood zone and on a shoreline is hewa.
