After the COVID-19 pandemic
caused disruptions for two
plus years, I am pleased to
share that the Office of
Housing and Community
Development (OHCD) is back
to normal operations. The
OHCD staff is here to help
applicants, residents,
property owners, and
advocates to learn and
navigate various housing
programs. I encourage
anyone with a question to
contact our office. You will
find useful information in this
newsletter and in future
editions, but you can also find

No. For the initial lease agreement, it will need to be a 6 month or
more lease. A 6 month or 1 year lease is the most common that
we see. You may indicate in the lease that it will automatically roll
into a month-to-month lease after the initial lease expires. Or an
entirely new lease agreement can be done prior to expiration.
Participants of the Housing Choice
Voucher Program, may apply for the
FSS Program. The FSS Program is
designed to assist participants who
are committed to achieving
economic self sufficiency. Two key
features of the program are financial
incentive (escrow/savings) and case
management (coaching).
