I object to this request. I have a pre-existing meeting scheduled with the Mayor's office at 2 pm. I will need to
leave the Hilo Council Chambers by no later than 1:30, preferably before that,to return to my office and prepare
for the next meeting. I do not believe re-ordering the agenda will allow for sufficient time to fully hear all
scheduled matters, allow the Board time for a brief lunch break, and conclude the Planning Department appeal
by 1-1:30 in the afternoon. I request that the matter order remain as agendized. Thank you.

Aloha- I am requesting that agenda item #4, case No. PL-BOA-2025-000121, be heard before
agenda item #3, case No. PL-BOA-2025-000119 at the hearing to be held on January 9, 2026. The
Director of Public Works issued Building Permit No. PW.B2024-005123, on April 1, 2025, before the SMA
assessment application No. PL SAA-2025-000280, dated March 31, 2025, was acted upon by the
Planning Director on April 11, 2025.
