To consider discipline and charges against officers or employees of the Hawai i County
Police Department where consideration of matters affecting privacy will be involved and a
closed session is requested and to consult with Corporation Counsel on questions and
issues pertaining to the commission's powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities
pursuant to HRS 92 -5 (2) and Hawai i County Charter Section 13 -20 (b).

discontinue the practice of lobbying the County Council for funds for the Police
Department.
Correspondence 04 -83, from Richard Spinney Kamoku giving notice of improper
response and default and demanding $1,000,000.00.

Investigation and deliberation of complaints.
HPC 04 -07: Complainant alleged that hospital personnel called the police for
assistance, and when they arrived, an officer used excessive force. (Report by Legal
Eyes.)
HPC 04 -46: Complainant saw an officer enter a truck when no one was around. He
alleged that this was an illegal search.
HPC 04 -47: Complainant alleged that he received a traffic citation that was illegible,
and the officer was rude.
EXECUTIVE SESSION

closed session is requested; to consult with Corporation Counsel on questions and issues
pertaining to the commission's powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities

the Chief of Polices annual evaluation pursuant to HRS 92 -5 (a) (2) and Hawaii County
Charter Section 13 -20 (b).
