COMMUNICATIONS • Maui Police Commission Minutes of April 20, 2005. • Correspondence 05 -25, to the Salary Commission relating to recommendations for equitable compensation for the Chief of Police and Deputy Chief. • Correspondence 05 -26, from County Council Member Pete Hoffman requesting that the North Kohala police station receive the highest priority for filing current vacancies. Correspondence 05 -27, from Deputy Corporation Counsel Joseph Kamelamela informing that they must have prompt notification of complaints and summons. EXECUTIVE SESSION (Closed to the Public) To consider discipline and charges against officers or employees of the Hawaii County Police Department where consideration of matters affecting privacy would be involved and a closed session is requested and to consult with Corporation Counsel on questions and issues pertaining to the commission's powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities pursuant to HRS 92 -5 (2) and Hawaii County Charter Section 13 -20 (b). • Monthly status report of complaints referred to the Chief.
