Mahuna. <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />To consider the hire of an employee where consideration of matters affecting privacy will be involved <br />and to consult with Corporation Counsel on questions and issues pertaining to the commission's <br />powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities pursuant to HRS 92 -5 (a) (2), (4) and Hawaii <br />County Charter Section 13 -20 (b). <br />• Chief of Police Selection Process, including but not limited to interview of candidates <br />Chadwick Fukui and Harry Kubojiri; review of selection procedures, written testimonies, <br />records, and documents; and deliberation. <br />SELECTION OF CHIEF OF POLICE <br />The Police Commission has a follow -up meeting scheduled for December 10, 2008, in the event the <br />interview process is not completed, or if follow -up interviews are necessary.
