EXECUTIVE SESSION (CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC)
To consider discipline and charges against officers or employees of the Hawaii County
Police Department where consideration of matters affecting privacy will be involved, to
conduct an annual evaluation of Police Chief Harry Kubojiri, and to consult with
Corporation Counsel on questions and issues pertaining to the commission's powers,
duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities pursuant to HRS 92 -5 (2) (4) and Hawaii
County Charter Section 13 -20 (b).

➢ HPC 09 -47: Complainant requests a reconsideration of the Police Commission's
decision that there was insufficient evidence to prove the allegations that a police
officer lacked jurisdiction to issue citations.
➢ HPC 09 -54: Complainant alleged that his arrest for disorderly conduct and resisting
arrest was trumped up. (Deferred for statement from officer.)
