Kailua-Kona, Hawaii 96740 - NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the following matters to be considered by the County of Hawai`i's Public Access, Open Space, and Natural Resources Preservation Commission (PONC) in accordance with the provisions of Chapters 91 and 92, Hawai'i Revised Statutes,the Hawai'i County Code Section 2-215, and the Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure (amended May 2023). Public Participation: This is an in-person meeting and the Commissioners will participate in person. Members of the public wishing to participate may either attend in person, giving oral or written testimony, or may submit written testimony prior to the meeting's commencement. To ensure timely delivery of your testimony to the Commissioners prior to the meeting, please submit written testimony no later than 12:00 noon two business days prior to the meeting, by(1) email to Ponctestimonva-hawaiicounty.gov, (2) by mail to PONC Commission at 25 Aupuni Street, Suite 1002, Hilo, Hawaii 96720, or(3) by fax to (808) 961-8248 attention PONC testimony. Testimony may also be provided either in writing or orally at the in-person meeting. All written testimony, regardless of time of receipt, will be made part of the permanent record. Please submit separate written testimony for each agenda item. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service, or other accommodation due to a disability, please contact the Property Management Division at(808) 961-8069 and/or PONC@hawaiicounty.gov as soon as possible. If a request is received later than five business days prior to the meeting date, we will try to obtain the auxiliary aid/service or other accommodation, but we cannot guarantee that the request will be fulfilled. Pursuant to HRS § 92-2.5(e), Commissioners who have attended the PONC in Practice—A Policy Summit, on Thursday, March 5, 2026, are to report their attendance and the matters presented and discussed that relate to official commission business. IX. MINUTES: (Motion(s) required) 1. Minutes (draft) of the November 9, 2025, regular meeting. 2. Minutes (draft) of the January 12, 2026, regular meeting. X. ANNOUNCEMENTS: 1. The next public meeting is scheduled for Monday, May 11, 2026, at 10:00 a.m at the Hawai'i County Building, 25 Aupuni Street, Hilo Council Chambers, Hilo, Hawaii 96720. 2.
