Commissioners,
I wish to support the County of Hawai'i PONC acquisition of Hakalauiki, where
lies the fishing area known as Manamanas.

This easement would protect the shoreline area from future development, ensuring
community access in perpetuity.
I support the partnership with Kmaulihou.
As a 41 plus year resident and property owner in Khua, Pepe'ekeo I remember the
sugar cane days when access to the shoreline was freely open for folks. Now, not so
