We acknowledge receipt of the email from Law Office of Carlsmith Ball dated February 25,
2026, requesting for a time extension to comply with the County of Hawaii, Planning
Department's Yd Notice of Violation and Order dated January 28, 2026.
According to your request, Carlsmith Ball has been recently engaged by Kaimu Cove LLC and
soon will be submitting notice of appearance as counsel. Further, the request also expresses
extending the period of the payment of fines. .
TIME EXTENSION
We have decided to grant the request for a time extension with a new deadline date of 30 days
after the conclusion of the Board of Appeal. We also agree to extend the payment time as is
reflected with the new time extension deadline date. Please be reminded that it is the
responsibility of the property owner or representative of Carlsmith Ball LLC to contact the
County of Hawaii, Planning Department, pertaining to the payment of any unpaid existing fines.
