PUBLIC HEARING
OLD MAYOR'S OFFICE CONFERENCE ROOM
KAILUA -KONA
This public hearing was held to afford all persons the opportunity to submit data, views, or
arguments, orally or in writing, to the Police Commission for its consideration prior to the adoption
of the proposed amendments to its rules and regulations.
CALL TO ORDER
Chair Whittemore called the meeting to order at 9:25 a.m.

Donn Mende, Vice Chair
Carol Ignacio, Commissioner
T. Ka'ili Pe'a- Ferrari, Commissioner
Michael Sumja, Commissioner
Absent: Michelle Kualii, Commissioner

Paul Ferreira, Deputy Chief
Marshall Kanehailua, Assistant Chief
Henry Tavares, Assistant Chief
Molly Lugo, Deputy Corporation Counsel
Josie Pelayo, Secretary
STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC ON AGENDA ITEMS — None.
Corporation Counsel Lugo stated this public hearing is for statements from the public. Discussion
by the commissioners should be done during the monthly meeting.
Being that there were no public statements, Commissioner Ignacio moved to adjourn the meeting.
Commissioner Pe'a- Ferrari seconded, and it carried unanimously.
