OPENING OF THE PROJECT-BASED VOUCHER (PBV) WAITING LIST
Hale Kikaha

Hale Kikaha will accept applications for Project-Based Voucher (PBV) assistance to
establish/update its PBV waiting list for Studio micro-units.
PBV Application Period Opens: June 16, 2026 9:00 A.M. HST (No Close Date)
Preference: Preference will be given to current Hale Kikaha residents. Preference does
not guarantee assistance; all applicants must meet eligibility requirements.
Date & Time: The date and time of receipt of the application will indicate its position on
the waiting list and account for any Preferences stated above.
PBV eligibility is determined based on household annual gross income and household
size. In general, household income may not exceed the current 50% Area Median Income
(AMI) for Hawaii County:
Family Size 1
50% AMI $42,350
Additional PBV program requirements apply (including other eligibility and screening
criteria).
How to Apply: Applications may be obtained in-person at Hale Kikaha Management
office Monday through Friday 8am-5pm. Please submit as instructed by the property’s
