Subject: Comment on Bill 147

To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing in opposition to Bill 147.
We own and operate a short-term vacation rental, and I also work as a cleaner. The income I earn from both of these activities is essential to supporting myself and family. My vacation
rental not only provides income for me, but also creates work opportunities through cleaning maintenance, and other local services.
If Bill 147 is enacted, I am concerned it will negatively impact my ability to earn a living. This
would directly affect my financial stability and make it more difficult to pay for housing, utilities, food and other expenses.
Short-term vacation rentals support many local workers, including cleaners like me, who rely
on this industry for consistent income. Restricting these rentals could have unintended consequences for hardworking individuals and small property owners who are trying to make
ends meets.
I respectfully ask you to vote NO on Bill 147 and consider the economic impact this legislation will have on local residents who depend on short-term vacation rentals for their
livelihoods.
Thank you for your time and consideration Sincerely,
Malis
