ORDER GRANTING CONTINUANCE OF HEARING
On September 30, 2024, Sinclair Salas-Ferguson, Deputy Corporation Counsel,Attorney
for Appellee STEPHEN M. PAUSE, DIRECTOR, DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS,
requested a two (2) month continuance in this matter, currently scheduled for October 11,2024 at
9:30 a.m. Ian R. Wesley Smith, Esq., and Patrick Wong, Esq.,Attorneys for I`O PROCESSING
COMPANY, INC., dba I`O PROCESSING COMPANY, objected to the continuance.
PURSUANT to the Board of Appeals Rule 3-1 (c), the chairperson of the Board may postpone or
continue any hearing. Chair Lewis granted Appellees'request in part, continuing the hearing in
this matter for one month instead of two.
ACCORDINGLY, this matter shall be continued to Friday,November 15, 2024, at 9:30
a.m. at the Hilo County Council Chambers, Suite 1401, 25 Aupuni Street, Hilo,Hawaii,
96720.
Appellant is further ordered to mail a notice of the new hearing date to all persons
required to be notified in accordance with Board of Appeals Rule 8-11 (d).
