ORDER GRANTING CONTINUANCE OF HEARING
On September 29, 2025, Sinclair Salas-Ferguson, Deputy Corporation Counsel,Attorney
for Appellee STEPHEN M. PAUSE, DIRECTOR, DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS,
requested a four(4) month continuance in this matter, currently scheduled for November 14,
2025, at 9:30 a.m. Ian R. Wesley-Smith, Esq.,Attorney for Appellant I`O PROCESSING
COMPANY, INC., dba I`O PROCESSING COMPANY, had no objection to the request. Chair
Cathy Lewis, granted Appellee's request for a continuance. PURSUANT to Board of Appeals
Rule 3-1(c), the chairperson of the Board may postpone or continue any hearing.
ACCORDINGLY, this matter shall be continued to Friday,March 13, 2026, at 9:30
a.m., at the Hilo County Council Chambers, Suite 1401,25 Aupuni Street,Hilo,Hawaii
96720.
A pre-hearing conference has been scheduled for February 3, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., via
Zoom. The Zoom invite will be e-mailed to all parties closer to the date of the pre-hearing
conference.
Appellant is ordered to mail a notice of the new hearing date to all persons required to be
notified in accordance with Board of Appeals Rule 8-11(d).
