NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the following matters to be considered by the Transportation Commission
of the County of Hawaii in accordance with the provisions of sections 92-3.7 and 92-7,Hawaii Revised Statutes
(HRS),Hawaii County Charter Section 5-3.1 through Section 5-3.4,and Chapter 18,Divisions 2 and 3,Hawai`i
County Code.

NOTICE REGARDING INTERACTIVE CONFERENCE TECHNOLOGY(ICT): This meeting will be
held by Interactive Conference Technology(ICT)through Zoom conferencing technology pursuant to Section
92-3.5,HRS. Commissioners and members of the public may participate in this meeting via the Zoom ICT
platform. All commissioners participating,via TCT must have their cameras on throughout the meeting.
A meeting held by interactive conference technology shall be automatically recessed for up to thirty(30)
minutes to restore communication when audiovisual communication cannot be maintained with all members
participating in the meeting or with the"in-person"location identified in this agenda. The meeting may
reconvene when either audiovisual communication is restored, or audio-only communication is established
after an unsuccessful attempt to restore audiovisual communication. If it is not possible to reconvene the
meeting as provided in this section within thirty(30) minutes after an interruption to communication,the
meeting shall be automatically terminated.
SUBMITTING ORAL OR WRITTEN TESTIMONY: The public may attend at the location address
provided above and if interested,provide oral testimony in person or by Zoom. To provide oral testimony

ensure timely delivery to Commissioners prior to the meeting,written testimony must be received no later than

PUBLIC COMMENT ON AGENDA ITEMS: Comments may be made either during the public comment

1.) Review taxicab applications for NEW Certificate of Public Convenience&Necessity to
operate in the County of Hawai'i.

failure to obtain a taxicab license for the current year within thirty days after the certificate is
granted.

5. MASS TRANSIT ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT
Follow up:
• Discussion on the shared ride taxi program and invoice audits of the participating taxi
companies
• Update on Mass Transit Agency's Battery Electric Bus charging station
• Update regarding the improvement of bus stops and bus shelters islandwide
• Purchase of 7 refurbished MCI buses. The I"bus arriving in June 2026 and remaining
vehicles to arrive in the months to follow

• Jennifer Martin's new role as the Assistant Administrator effective April 2026
• Mass Transit Agency participated in HCC's College Day in April 2026
• Transit Program Manager for the Micro Transit Program and an Administrative Assistant
position to be posted on the County of Hawai'i's Jobs website

• Hurricane/Tsunami Protocol Collab with Mass Transit Agency's contractors in June 2026
