ORDER GRANTING CONTINUANCE OF HEARING
On June 12, 2026, Terina K. Fa`agau, Esq., Attorney for Appellant `OHANA O
MOKUHULU, KAIMU MAKENA, AND KALAPANA ("Appellant") requested a continuance
in this matter, currently scheduled for July 10, 2026, at 9:30 am. Patrick K. Wong, Esq., Attorney
for Landowners KAIMU COVE, LLC. ("Landowners") objected to the request for a
continuance. PURSUANT to the Board of Appeals Rule 3-1(c), the chairperson of the Board
may postpone or continue any hearing.
ACCORDINGLY, this matter shall be continued to Friday, November 13, 2026, at 9:30
a.m. at the Waiakea Uka Community Center, 1200 Ainaola Drive, Hilo, Hawaii 96720.
A pre -hearing conference has been scheduled for July 7, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., via Zoom.
The Zoom invite will be e-mailed to all parties closer to the date of the pre -hearing conference.
Appellant is ordered to mail a notice of the new hearing date to all persons required to be
notified in accordance with Board of Appeals Rule 8-11(d).
