VII. Unfinished Business
1. Big Island Brewery LLC, dba Hamakua Sports Bar (10:00 A.M.)
Pursuant to Rule 1 -16 of the Rules and Regulations of the Liquor
Commission of the Department of Liquor Control of the County of Hawai'i,
State of Hawai'i, submits application to amend conditions placed on its
liquor license.
The following are the conditions imposed by the Liquor Commission at its
meeting held on May 7, 2009:
Sundays through Thursday — Close @ 10:00 PM.
2. Friday and Saturday — Close @ 12:00 Midnight.
3. No amplification.
4. Four times a year hours may be extended up until 2:00 AM with
notification to the Department of Liquor Control and recognized
Protesters within 500 feet, at least two weeks prior to the event.
Licensee requests the following proposed amendments:

1. Lift condition 3 to allow amplification and karaoke for a 3 month
trial period. (continued from May 5, 2011)
VIII. New Business
Big Island Brewery LLC, dba Hamakua Sports Bar, ratification of
Application for Temporary Increase in Licensed Premises of the parking
area fronting the licensed premises for outdoor service and seating area for
Western Week Celebration on May 27, 2011, approved by Director Gerald
Takase on May 19, 2011.
2. Golden Room, Inc., dba Golden Room, submits Application for Alteration
Permit and Increase in Licensed Premises to include approximately
2,418 square feet (existing game room) as part of their licensed premises.
3. GKK Makalei Owner LLC, dba Makalei Golf Club, submits Management
Agreement for Touchstone Golf, LLC, to provide the management and
other services necessary for the operations of the Golf Course Facility.
4. IWF KKH, LLC, dba King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel, ratification
of Application for Temporary Increase in Licensed Premises of its existing
back parking lot for a concert to be held on June 10, 2011, approved by
Director Gerald Takase on May 5, 2011.
5. IWF KKH, LLC, dba King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel, ratification
of Application for Temporary Increase in Licensed Premises of its existing
back parking lot for a concert to be held on August 13, 2011, approved by
Director Gerald Takase on May 19, 2011.
6. Executive Conextion LLC, ratification of Application for Solicitor's Permit
for Maria C. Barreto - Grassberger, approved by Director Gerald Takase on
April 29, 2011.
7. Tante's Restaurant, Inc., dba Tante's Restaurant, ratification of
Application for Temporary Increase in Licensed Premises of the existing
upstairs area above the restaurant for a meeting to be held on June 9,
2011, approved by Director Gerald Takase on May 16, 2011.
8. Application 09 -43, Wal -Mart Stores, Inc., dba Wal -Mart #2473, by letter
dated May 9th, 2011, pursuant to Rule 4 -2 -L of the Rules and Regulations
of the Liquor Commission of the Department of Liquor Control of the
County of Hawai'i, State of Hawai'i, requests permission to extend the time
of issuance of its original Retail General liquor license for an additional six
months, to December 3, 2011.
9. Waikoloa Venture, LLC, dba Aloha Wine Bar, dba Island Gourmet
Markets, by letter dated May 10, 2011, received May 12, 2011, informs the
Liquor Commission of the resignation of Mr. Jerry Kazuo Imai as Vice
President/Director, effective February 2011, and the election of Mr. Miles
Mitsuo Oda as Executive Vice President /Director of Waikoloa Venture,
LLC, effective March, 2011.

10. HKHK, Inc., dba Pahoa Cash & Carry, by letter dated April 25, 2011,
received May 17, 2011, informs the Liquor Commission of the resignation
of Mr. Charles K. Kawamoto as President and Manager, effective April 30,
2011, and the election of Mr. Jason S. Hara as President of HKHK, Inc.,
effective April 25, 2011.
11. H H & S, Inc., dba Mizuno Superette, by letter received May 17, 2011,
informs the Liquor Commission of the withdrawal of Mr. Derek Hara, as
Vice President, effective April 14, 2011, the election of Mrs. Rochelle Hara
as Vice President of H H & S, Inc., effective April 29, 2011, and submits
request to transfer 82% of the outstanding stock held by Derek Hara to
Rochelle Hara; and requests approval.
12. Da Poke Shack, Limited Liability Company, dba Da Poke Shack,
informs the Liquor Commission of the withdrawal of Member, Patricia M.
Louia and the admission of new Member, Nakoa Pabre of Da Poke Shack,
Limited Liability Company and requests approval.
13. Seven - Eleven Hawaii, Inc., dba 7- Eleven Stores, by letters dated April 1,
2011, received April 4, 2011, and May 20, 2011 received May 23, 2011,
informs the Liquor Commission of the appointment of Mr. Yoichi Tsuda as
Director and new Assistant Secretary, of Seven - Eleven Hawai'i, Inc.,
effective March 3, 2011.
14. Pursuant to Rule 4- 7 -A -5, Renewal, of the Rules and Regulations of the
Liquor Commission, the following Class 2 Restaurant licensees submit
gross sales meeting the qualification that 30% of the gross sales is derived
from the sale of food: DARCON, Inc., dba Anthony's; Ohana Lea,
Incorporated, dba Bamboo; C & T Restaurants, LLC, dba Daniel Thiebaut's
(amended report); The Kona Korner Pocket, Inc., dba Korner Pocket Bar &
Grill; BIEA Ohana, LLC, dba Luke's Place & The Tiki Lounge.
The following Class 2 Restaurant licensees submitted their gross sales
reports and do not meet the qualification that 30% of the gross sales is
derived from the sale of food: Coqui's Hideaway Restaurant And Sports
Bar; Jacaranda Inn; Kona Bay Hotel.
The following Class 2 Restaurant licensees have failed to submit their
report: Aloha Theatre Cafe, LLC, dba Aloha Theatre Cafe; Jackson Kona
Inc., dba Bianelli's Gourmet Pizza & Pasta; Grand 88 LLC, dba Jade
Palace Chinese Restaurant; Honoka'a Brothers, LLC, dba Napua At The
Mauna Lani Beach Club; Outback Steakhouse of Florida, LLC,
dba Outback Steakhouse; Kailua -Kona Restaurants, Inc., dba Pancho And
Lefty's Cantina & Restaurante; Sodexo Management, Inc., dba Sodexo
Management, Inc. /Hilo.
