APPLICANTS’ REQUEST:
•A Special Permit to operate a three-bedroom Bed & Breakfast (B&B)
establishment within an existing 3-bedroom farm dwelling with a
maximum guest count of six (6).
•The B&B establishment will be hosted and operated by the applicants.
•Off-street parking is available with 3 designated, on-site parking stalls
for guests of the B&B (one for each rented bedrooms) with additional
parking (2 stalls) for the applicants.
•The B&B will operate daily, with guest check-in and check-out
proposed to occur during daytime hours. The applicant proposes quiet
hours between 9:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
•No other activities or actions are proposed.
APPLICANTS’ REQUEST:
•The applicants currently reside in the first farm dwelling (FFD) on the
property. The Applicants propose to rent out the three-bedroom
additional farm dwelling (AFD) and reside (as hosts) in the FFD.
•However, the AFD’s approval limits its use to housing persons
involved in agricultural or farm-related activities; therefore, it cannot
currently be used as a B&B.
•Thus, prior to initiating the B&B use, the AFD will have to be
redesignated as the FFD. Thereafter, the applicants (as host) will
reside in the AFD and the proposed B&B establishment will become
the FFD.
