The Association of Apartment Owners of Kailua Village has today filed a General Petition for Appeal with the County of
Hawai'i Board of Appeals. The appeal is from the Stop Work Order entered against Building Permit PW.B2023-003558 on
August 6, 2026, and from the Department's related determination that a separate building permit is required for each of
the sixty-four individual condominium units.
A complete copy of the petition as filed is attached, including the Supplemental Statement and Exhibits A and B. This
message serves the petition on you as Director of the Department whose decision is under appeal.
