Aloha,
My name is Erin Harner, I live in Pu'uanahulu, Kailua Kona, and I support Bill 170, but not as
currently written. We need to make clear that this bill bans the type of giant facilities that are
being built around the country. These people are good at lying and cheating to get what they
want.
I am talking about hyper scale data centers, buildings that draw 20 megawatts or any campus
of multiple buildings that are owned by the same or related entity that use that kind of
power. Our island cannot handle this more strain on our grid. Especially with all of the storms
that are constantly damaging our grid. We need to make sure the language is bullet proof so
that the expensive lawyers they will employ cannot get around our wishes to be free of these
monster data centers.
