It is absolutely imperative that bill 170 be passed. Data Centers are an absolutely proven blight on the lands and neighborhoods wherever they’re built and the public unanimously
disapproves wherever they’re proposed. And, shamefully, construction often proceeds against their clear objections.
The billionaires and their hangers-on are relentless in their pursuit of getting these
monstrosities built using their bottomless pockets and armies of lawyers to wear down and exhaust all opposition. Citizens should not be forced into an endless war to protect their basic
rights and needs and this bill will be instrumental in making sure we don’t have to. Hawaiians already have our hands full dealing with hurricanes, droughts, floods and El Niños without
adding (more) manmade stresses to our lives.
