Aloha Leeward Planning Commission members:
When you work on Bill 170 at this week's meeting, please be sure to support the
purpose of Bill 170
Section 1. That said, Bill 170 needs an amendment:
Support creating a definition of Data Centers that will help differentiate it from Data
Processing Centers.
I also request REJECT the planning department’s recommendation regarding Data
Centers. It is attempting to create regulations around Data Centers when we are still
working on defining what they are.
Mahalo for your time and attention to the matter which is so important for our
community. We have an opportunity to be a role model for higher levels of
government.
