My name is Debra M Javar. I live in 'Ōlelomoana, south Kona on Hawai'i island.
I am submitting testimony in SUPPORT of the intent of Bill 170. To start, we must first Clearly define Data centers so that we clearly understand what we are talking about. Until
there is a clear definition, there really should be a moratorium in place. I also recommend Rejecting the Planning Department Recommendation Report. Again, to
begin with, we must first and foremost clearly define what exactly is a Data Center before introducing and regulations.
Mahalo for your time. Our resources here in Hawai'i is extremely limited, i.e. land, water, electricity etc. Therefore, it is critical that we not rush through this process or any other
