S. Stanbro will take a photo of what is left of the tree for our file. She had previously asked
the park personnel to remove the debris piled on the trunk to see if something might sprout
up. Since the tree needs to be removed from our list, it could be done at the same time that
the Vancouver Orange Tree is agendized for Council action. J. Anderson stated that when
M. Kraus is in the area, he can also check on the remains of the tree.
8.Nomination of the Vancouver Orange Tree S. Stanbro.
S. Stanbro amended the application to add in (Vancouver) after Valcencia Orange. She
could not find a scientific name for Valencia Orange and theold map for the Pili Tree was
used to denote the location of this tree. She recalled earlier testimony that these oranges
were used for a fundraiser on Oahu. S.Stanbro will ask Peter Greenwell to provide such
written historical information to be included with the application. J. Anderson moved and E.
