I heard today about this zoning change bill with the intent to build a data center near the
Mormon Church in Kailua-Kona, Hi 96740. I am vehemently against any data centers on our island. They waste precious resources such as water, as they require millions of gallons of
water per day to keep cool. They cause electricity rates to rise sky high and it's high enough already! They initially provide jobs, but not after they're built. They also cause health
problems in people who live nearby, as testimony on copious videos describe. They are noisy as well. They are just not a good fit for our community. Please vote against this. Mahalo.
