Applicant’s Request
•Repeal of State Land Use Boundary Amendment
Ordinance No. 99-149 to revert approximately 7.794
acres of the 18.667-acre parcel from the State Land
Use Urban District to the Agricultural District.
•Repeal of Change of Zone Ordinance No. 99-150 to
revert approximately 7.794 acres of the 18.667-acre
parcel from Neighborhood Commercial 20,000-
square-foot (CN-20) zoning to its original Agricultural
5-acre (A-5a) zoning district.
Reason for Request
• In 1999, the property was rezoned and the State Land Use district classification was amended to allow for the development of a village commercial complex.
• The proposed commercial development was never completed, and the property was subsequently returned to its original owner without any associated improvements.
• In a letter dated May 26, 2026, the applicant stated that the property is currently used for grazing and horse pasturing and expressed the intent to continue utilizing the property for long-term agricultural purposes.
