Ashida to All County Boards and Commissions, re: Office of Information Practices Opinion No. 06-04 b.Communication No. 2006-76: Society of Professional Journalists, Hawaii Chapter dtd: 7/10/06, re: Request for copies of executive session minutes. c.Communication No. 2006-79: Letter dated July 31, 2006, to the Board of Ethics from Lincoln S. Ashida, Corporation Counsel re: Petitions received against Councilman Gary Safarik. 5. NEW BUSINESS a. Review of Disclosure of Financial Interest statements filed pursuant to §2- 91.1(d), Hawai`i County Code, where the individuals involved requested review in regular session, of: b. Review of Gift Disclosure Statements for: 1. Peter S. Hoffman Council Member 2. Virginia Isbell Council Member 6. UNFINISHED BUSINESS Financial Disclosure Subcommittee Report. EXECUTIVE SESSION Review of Disclosure of Financial Interest statements filed pursuant to §2-91.1(d), Hawai`i County Code, where personal matters will be reviewed, and where the individuals involved requested review in executive session, of: 1. Mark F. Fujimoto Liquor Commission 2. Michael B. Sumja Tax Board of Review 3. Fred Takeo Yamashiro Liquor Commission 8. ANNOUNCEMENT The next regular monthly meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 13, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. at Liquor Control Conference Room. 9. NOTICE TO LOBBYISTS If you are a lobbyist, you must register with the Hawai‘i County Clerk within five days of becoming a lobbyist (Article 15, Section 2-91.3(b), Hawai‘i County Code). A lobbyist means “any individual engaged for pay or other consideration who spends more than five hours in any month or $275 in any six-month period for the purpose of attempting to influence legislative or administrative action by communicating or urging others to communicate with public officials.” (Article 15, Section 2-91.3(a)(6), Hawai‘i County Code.)
