process of ethics boards commissioners in the counties.
b.Review of Disclosure of Financial Interest statements filed pursuant to
2-91.1(e), Hawai`i County Code,and who requested review in regular
session, of:
(1)Dionne, Carl Liquor Control
(2)Werner, Marlin Spike Pension Board
c.Petition No. 2005-01: Barbara Lively, council aide for Bob Jacobson, is
also under contract with the Hawai`i County Resource Center (Department
ofResearchandDevelopment).Continuedhearingonherrequestforan
opinion on possible conflict of interest.
6.NEW BUSINESS
a.Petition No. 2005-02: Ronald Thiel, engineer with the Department of
PublicWorks,alsoiscontractinghisservicestovariousagenciesin
Alaska and seeks to confirm that no provision within the Code of Ethics is
inquestion.
b.Petition No. 2005-03: Lincoln Ashida, Corporation Counsel, seeks
informal advisory opinion regarding work by deputies corporation

counsel and the use of County time and resources in fulfilling
de minimis
their requirements.
