ADA - Title II & S. 504
Forwarded complaint that Hawaiis Most Wanted is not captioned to
·
Police, communicated with Corporation Counsel with respect to this issue;
advised complainant of decision to provide transcripts of the program as
Auxiliary Aid; informed Police and Corporation Counsel of complainants
response to the proposed remedy;
Responded to an inquiry regarding registration of children for a
·
Department of Parks and Recreation Program;
Responded to inquiry regarding ADA improvements to Pomaiki Senior
·
Center;
Forwarded a complaint from Disability Rights Hawaii re lack of adequate
·
accessible parking spaces at the Territorial Building in Kona to Finance
Department and Corporation Counsel;
Forwarded a complaint re broken asphalt at new curb cut Waianeuene
·
and Ululani St. to Department of Public Works;
Asked Department of Public Works and Environmental Management to
·
comment upon procedures for posting information regarding spraying of
herbicides to the public;
Forwarded Transition Plans to ADA Consultant working with Court Monitor
·
in Russell v. County of Hawaii.

Responded to an inquiry from Department of Parks and Recreation re
·
question regarding ability to lift certain weight in an interview;
Title III
Referred an inquiry from a realtor regarding condo accessibility to Office
·
of Housing and Community Development and Department of Justice;
Other ADA Activities
Attended County ADA Coordinators Meeting at the Disability and
·
Communication Access Board in Honolulu;
Attended meeting of Disability Rights Hawaii.

Conducted five non-supervisory Anti-Discrimination and Harassment

Training sessions;
Conducted training session on Title II of the ADA for Police Dispatchers;
·
Delivered one customized training workshop on ADA Title II and Anti-
·
Discrimination and HarassmentforMass Transit Agency bus operators;
Attended Lorimar Webinar on Addictions in the Workplace.
