Hawaii County Nutrition Program staff
Creating curriculum for a "Wandering" workshop looking at characteristics, prevention,
planningandpreparedness.I'llcoverachecklistforcaregiversandaproposalfor
legislation for a new GPS tracking system and medical amber alert. Discussion about
describing staff's role in helping senior members and family caregivers in transitioning
someone on to a higher level of care. This in itself is a valuable community service if
done with grace and support!
West Hawaii Coordinated services

Hawaii County Band performs Sat. Nov 5 noon Mo'oheau Band stand and
on Sat. Dec 3 at noon at the bandstand.
Announcements:
Councilman Pete Hoffman, Kohala, asked P&R director about community
needs. Funds were provided to create a new 1/2 time position for the
Kamehameha Park Gym.
