DATE: Wednesday, September 19, 2007 TIME: 10:00 a.m. PLACE: Planning Department Conference Room, Aupuni Center, 101 Pauahi Street, Suite #3, Hilo, HawaiÒi CALL TO ORDER ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS 1.Introduction of Maija Cottle to represent the Planning Director Î S. Gagorik. 2.Distribution of Application for Hawaii County Boards and Commissions Î S. Gagorik. ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES July 12, 2007 meeting PUBLIC STATEMENTS UNFINISHED BUSINESS 1.Report on the Planning Committee and County Council action on Bill Nos. 134 (Valencia Orange), 135 (Ohe) and 136 (Kokio) Î S. Stanbro and J. Anderson. 2.Sample Tree Signs, including the mock-up for the Moreton Bay Fig 3.Tree Signs for the Mango Groves. 4.Status on the proposal to submit Grant Requests to Kaulunani Council Î M. Kraus. 5.Status on the Exceptional Tree Assessment Protocol Î J. Anderson/M. Kraus. NEW BUSINESS 1. Request from the Legislative AuditorÓs office to consider rearranging the list of the exceptional trees to facilitate amendments. ANNOUNCEMENTS 1.Schedule date of next meeting. 2.Set agenda for next meeting. ADJOURNMENT Information related to the above matters is on file in the office of the Planning Department in the Aupuni Center, 101 Pauahi Street, Suite 3, Hilo, HawaiÒi, and in the Planning DepartmentÓs West Hawaii Office at 75-5706 Kuakini Highway, Suite l09, in Kailua-Kona, HawaiÒi, and is open to inspection during office hours. Any disabled person requiring special assistance or person requiring auxiliary aid and/or services to participate in the hearing should contact the Planning Department at 961-8288 five (5) working days prior to the hearing so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
