research and suggested Saturday, October 3, 2009 or Saturday,
October 24, 2009.
C. Ka-ipo invited CSW members to take a look at the Naniloa Volcanoes
Resort, Kilohana Room or Polynesian Room when the next meeting is
held in Hilo. The menu will be a prime rib buffet of $36.50 plus a side dish
of chicken or fish for vegetarians. A special room rate of approximately
$99 per night will be provided for CSW’s guests and members.
K. Nova indicated that CSW has not decided whether the event will be
held in Hilo or not so she told C. Ka-ipo to be careful in making
2
arrangements. She felt that more CSW members need to be present in
order to make a decision such as alternating the event every other year
and having the event in Kona, Waikoloa, Waimea or Hilo. Secondly,
another issue is providing ample notice to the honorees and their families.
CSW agreed to consider all these factors and discuss it further at the next
