Election of Officers for 20, to include recommendation of Selection Committee
Status Report on the Update to the Integrated Resource Solid Waste Management Plan, to
include new revisions since last month’s report; input received and actions taken at the
November 16, 2009 Solid Waste Advisory Committee; time table for review and approval by
State Department of Health and County Council.
Discussion and decision-making relating to commission members reporting individual
district updates, including current and upcoming projects that relate to the department; and district
goals for future growth and needs.
Formation of sub-committees of less than a quorum of members to investigate specific
solid waste and wastewater issues and report information back to commission at regularly
scheduled meetings.
Ways the department can apply and implement solid waste user fees to aid in funding and
continue the ability to offer solid waste/recycling programs to County residents during this time of
financial restriction.
