PUBLIC HEARING ON DEPARTMENT RULES, SOLID WASTE DIVISION

Barbara Bell, Department Director presided over this Public Hearing, opened discussion at 9:00
a.m. and offered an amendment to the Rules as follows:
Section 5.01A(a)5:02A
Page 15:Delete and , operating hours of the Sanitary Landfills.
David Frankel shared the following input:
Section 3.03 – Fee Schedule
Page 13:Delete since it is already provided by County of
Hawai’i Ordinance 03-102.
Page 4: Replace the term “Biosolids” with “treated sewage sludge”.
The Director adopted the rules with the following amendments:
Section 5.01A(a)5:02A
Page 15:Delete and , operating hours of the Sanitary Landfills.
Section 3.03 – Fee Schedule (a) through (c)
Page 13: Delete . (A Fee Schedule will be
attached to the Department Rules.)
The rules, as adopted, will be forwarded to the appropriate authorities for review and recordation.
