He introduced Margaret <br />Almada, Department of Environmental Management Personnel Managem <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF OCTOBER 23, 2002 MEETING <br />2. <br />David Frankel moved to approve the October 23, 2002 minutes.Mack Asato seconded the <br /> <br />motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC ON ITEMS LISTED ON AGENDA <br />3. <br />Donald Leopoldino feels the request to increase landfill tipping fees is being hurried to Council <br />for approval. He shared his concerns that only haulers and not residents are required to pay this <br />fee, and questioned if the credit for residential haulers will be increased when the tipping fee is <br />increased. <br />Council member Gary Safarik introduced himself and stated he is looking forward to working <br />closely with the commission if the council approves his nomination as Chair for the Parks and <br />Environmental Management Commission.
