WRITTEN COMMUNICATION Communication No. 05- 004 — Letter dated December 27, 2005, from Mayor Harry Kim thanking Chair John Replogle for his letter dated December 13, 2005 in support of the acquisition of the property at Honu`apo. PRESENTATION BY PATRICIA ENGELHARD, DIRECTOR OF DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION Patricia Engelhard will provide the Commission with a list of lands for its consideration and discuss the importance of preserving such lands. FINANCE DIRECTOR'S REPORT Nancy Crawford, Deputy Finance Director, will answer questions from the commissioners regarding the Commission's budget or any other financial matters. COMMITTEE REPORTS • Committee on Rules & Procedures The Commission will discuss the [PROPOSED] RULES OF PRACTICE AND PROCEDURE OF THE HAWAI ' I COUNTY PUBLIC ACCESS, OPEN SPACE AND NATURAL RESOURCES PRESERVATION COMMISSION. RECOMMENDATION: The Committee on Rules & Procedures recommends that the Commission approve the Proposed Rules of Practice and Procedure for adoption at a public hearing to be held pursuant to Chapter 91 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes. • Committee on Assessment Criteria The Commission will discuss the proposed assessment criteria, which will solicit the community's input for establishing a list of prioritized lands.
