Personnel from the Department of Finance will answer any questions from the
commissioners regarding the Commission's budget or any other financial
matters.
OFFICE OF THE CORPORATION COUNSEL'S REPORT
Deputy Corporation Counsel Amy Self to provide comments and /or information
relating to matters of concern to the Commission.
CHAIRPERSON'S REPORT
Chairperson to provide comments and /or information relating to matters of
concern to the Commission.
COMMITTEE REPORT
Committee to provide comments and /or information relating to matters of
concern to the Commission.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
• Assessment of 2007 Suggestion Forms.
• Discussion of 2007 Annual Report to the Mayor.
NEW BUSINESS:
• Discussion on whether the Commission can write a letter to the Mayor to
release funds for Communication Nos. 07 -049 (Waimea Trails &
Greenways Project) and 07 -050 (Waimea District Park) submitted by Mr.
Bob Hunter.
• Discussion on whether the Commission can write a letter to the Hawaii
County Council to pass Bill #114 in favor of Communication No. 07 -048
(Waimea Pu`u) submitted by Mr. Bob Hunter.
• Discussion of 2007 prioritized list and procedures.
DISCUSSION WITH PATRICIA ENGELHARD, DIRECTOR OF PARKS AND
RECREATION
• Ms. Engelhard will be discussing maintenance issues regarding properties
that are purchased with the Public Access, Open Space and Natural
Resources Preservation Fund.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, September 10, 2007 at
10:00 a.m., at the Department of Liquor Conference Room, 75 -5722
Hanama Place, Suite 1107, Kailua -Kona, Hawaii.

to influence legislative or administrative action by communicating or urging others to
communicate with public officials." {Article 15, Section 2- 91.3(a)(6), Hawaii County
