Redistricting Commission

SUBJECT:Request for Information
At the request of the members of the Redistricting Commission,the Office of the
Corporation Counsel reviewed records pertaining to costs associated with two separate lawsuits
regarding the Redistricting Plan adopted by the Commission in 2001. The costs for the defense
of both law suits were less than $6,000.00.Attorneys from the Office of the Corporation
Counsel represented the County in both of these matters.
