INVITATION FROM KAWAIHAE RESOURCE COUNCIL

The Kawaihae Local Resource Council is asking for a representative from the Redistricting
Commission to speak at their monthly meeting on August 7, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. The meeting will
be held at the Old Hmkua Macadamia Nut Factory.

Aloha Ms. Eoff,
I am writing on behalf of the Kawaihae Local Resource Council (KLRC), a community
concerned group with concerns and issues facing the Kawaihae area. As such, the members of
KLRC would like to invite a member of the HawaiÓi County Redistricting Committee to speak at
their monthly meeting August 7, 2011@2pm at the Old Hamakua Macadamia Nut Factory just
north of Kawaihae Harbor, to update the group on the upcoming redistricting and
reapportionment status.
KLRC meets monthly to discuss issues, concerns, and points of interest to the Kawaihae
community/area. Would you be able to check with any of the members if they would be able to
attend? Also, is the Reapportionment Committee a different group, if so, would you have any
contact information as we would also like to invite a member from that group to speak also.
