HAWAIII 96720 TELEPHONE (808; 964-8050 - ;:AX 03 8) 9o1-8G57 May 4, 2007 WATER BOARD OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Water Board of the County of Hawaii will hold a public hearing in the Department of Water Supply, Hilo Operations Center Conference Room, 889 Leilani Street, Hilo, Hawaii, on May 22, 2007, at 9:30 a.m, for the following purpose: Pursuant to Sections 8-2(c) and 10-4 of the Hawaii County Charter, considering and adopting the proposed Operating Budget and Capital Improvements Budget for the Fiscal Year July 1, 2007, to June 30, 2008. The summary of the proposed Operating Budget is as follows: Receipts: Sale of Water $38,744,000 Interest Income 1,890,000 Service Installation Fees 325,000 Rent Income 319,000 TOTAL RECEIPTS 41,278_,000 Expenditures: Materials, Supplies, and Services $21,920,900 Personnel Services 11,954,600 Transfer to C.I.P. Reserve 4,888,000 Debt Service 1,970,000 Equipment 538,500 Amortization 6,000 TOTAL EXPENDITURES $411,278,000 The summary of the proposed Capital Improvements Budget is as follows: Program Title: New Reservoirs & Transmission Waterlines S 9,900,000 Waterline Replacements 5,600,000 Facilities Repair & Maintenance 5,500,000 Source Development 3,000,000 Systems Upgrade 2,500,000 Buildings and Other Projects 325,000 TOTAL C.I.P.
