SUBJECT: Maps Requested From the Elections Division
At the June 23, 2011 meeting of the Hawaii County Redistricting Commission, Commissioner Melrose
requested that the Elections Division prepare alternative maps for the Commission's review.
In accordance with Commissioner Melrose's request I am transmitting to the commission 6 maps,
prepared by the Elections Division, for discussion at the next meeting of the Redistricting Commission.
At the July 28, 2011 meeting of the Redistricting Commission, Commissioner Melrose requested that all
maps for the Commission's review be submitted without the name of the map's preparer. The following
list has been redacted to comply with the Commission's request.
