EXECUTIVE SESSION (approximately 10:00 a.m.) To consider discipline and charges against officers or employees of the Hawaii Police Department, to consider sensitive matters relating to public safety, and to consult with Corporation Counsel on questions and issues pertaining to the commission's powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities pursuant to HRS 92-5 (a) (2) (4) (5) and the Hawaii County Charter Section 13-20 (b). • Correspondence No. 2011-11, request for legal counsel for former Police Officer Robert Wolverton in Civil No. 07-1-0152K. • Investigation and Deliberation of Complaint HPC 11-15: Complainant was arrested for DUI. He alleged that while being processed, the officer grabbed and threatened him. • Status Report of Internal and Referred Complaints. ACTION ON EXECUTIVE SESSION MATTERS ANNOUNCEMENTS • The Police Commission's next monthly meeting will be on Friday, August 12, 2011, in the Waimea Civic Center Conference Room, 67-5189 Kamamalu St., Waimea. • Collection of files and documents.
