HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 05-116COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII BILL NO. 115 ORDINANCE NO. 05 116 A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE 6, SECTION 2 -16.1 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (.TUNE 2005 EDITION), ADMINISTRATION. RELATING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF VOLUNTEER FIRE STATIONS BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF'lTIE COUNTY OF FIAWAI'I SECTION 1. Chapter 2, Article 6 of the Hawaii County Code, 1983 (June 2005 Edition), relating to Volunteer Fire Department, is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 2 -16.1 Volunteer fire stations In accordance with provisions of section 46 -13.1, Hawaii Revised Statutes, the following volunteer fire stations are established in the County of Hawaii to be sited and operated by the head of the volunteer fire department pursuant to powers granted under this article: 1. Pepe'ekeo volunteer fire station. 2. Kulani volunteer fire station. 3. Volcano volunteer fire station. 4. Hawaiian Acres volunteer fire station. 5. Fern Forest volunteer tire station. 6. Fern Acres volunteer lire station. 7. Miloh'i volunteer fire station. 8. Kona Paradise volunteer fire station. 9. Kona Village volunteer fire station. 10. Ka'u pulehu volunteer fire station. 11. Four Seasons volunteer fire station. 12. Pa'auilo volunteer fire station. 13. Waiki`i volunteer fire station. 14. Hawaiian Beaches volunteer fire station. 15. Wa'awa'a volunteer fire station. 16. Na'alchu volunteer fire station. 17. Hawaiian Ocean View Estate volunteer fire station. 18. Discovery Harbor volunteer fire station. 19. Pahala volunteer fire station. 20. North Kohala volunteer fire station. 21. Waikoloa volunteer fire station. 22. Laupahoehoe volunteer fire station. 23. Paradise Park volunteer fire station. 24. Ainaloa volunteer fire station. SECTION 2. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the underscoring need not be included. SECTION 3. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, the invalidity does not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end the provisions of this ordinance are severable. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
