COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br />BILL NO. 161 <br />ORDINANCE NO. JS 158 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 14, ARTICLE 10, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY <br />CODE, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO EXCEPTIONAL TREES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br />SECTION 1. Chapter 14, Article 10, of the Hawai'i County Code, 1983 (June <br />2005 edition), is amended by removing a tree from the existing list of thirty three <br />exceptional trees, and renumbering, as follows: <br />SECTION 14 -65. Designated Exceptional Trees. <br />The following tree is to be removed from the "Exceptional Trees of the County of <br />Hawai'i" list: <br />TREE TAX MAP KEY AND LOCATION OWNER <br />[15. Quinine 2 -3 -05:1 County of Hawai'i <br />Cinchona sp. Kalakaua Park] <br />SECTION 2. The subsequent items on the list shall be renumbered accordingly. <br />SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is <br />underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed and stricken material and <br />underscoring need not be included. <br />SECTION 4. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application <br />thereof to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other <br />provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid <br />provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be <br />severable. <br />
