Subject: "Splitting" Waikoloa Village
Dear Karen:
My wife and I are strongly opposed to the proposed plans for the redistricting of Waikoloa Village,
District 9. Please see to it that all members of the commission receive this notice. There is great
interest in keeping Waikoloa Village as a whole, and eventually eliminating our "Association" and
allowing us to become a "town ", like Kailua-Kona, Waimea, Kawaihae and Hawi. Splitting Waikoloa
Village would eliminate the possibility of our achieving this goal.
There are absolutely no benefits to our Village with regard to our being split!
