Subject: redistricting
Dear Ms Keoff,
I am writing regarding the upcoming meetings about the redistricting plans for the County of Hawaii.
I live in Hawaiian Paradise Park, which one of the plans is proposing to divide into two voting districts.
This goes against the requirement /suggestion/guidelines that towns and communities not be split up. I
would urge the county commission to keep HPP as one voting block, as residents in HPP have goals and
needs in common,as do most communities.
I hope to attend at least one of the meetings, but am currently away from home.
I would appreciate your submitting my opinion as written testimony to the commission.
