Re: Testimony to the Redistricting Commission in favor of "Community Plan 40"
As a citizen of Hawaii County and resident of Hamakua, I am writing to request that the Hawaii
County Redistricting Commission select a redistricting plan that would retain a Council District for
Hamakua. Please don't split Hamakua; such a decision doesn't seem logical, culturally
appropriate, or warranted by population changes.
