We support community plan 40. It is outrageous to think the commission would consider
concentrating more power to the existing power brokers in Hilo.
The Kona side has been the poor stepchild in every political and financial decision
recently made by Hawaii County government.
As most of the taxes are generated on the Kona side of our island, it is now time to start
upgrading parks, infrastructure, water, roads and county services to reflect this fact. We
are watching.
