I am writing to let the commission know that that my family and I are very much against
Plan A as it currently stands. It would divide the Hamakua coast that we feel is our
greater community and, most importantly, diminish our representation. The Northern
half would be overwhelmed by Waimea's interests, and the Southern half by Hilo's
interests. The Hamakua coast deserves representation.
Please take this into consideration.
